General Summary….

The Supply System Analyst is responsible for evaluating processes, systems and transactions data to resolve any problems identified, evaluating the impact of proposed changes to the system or regulations, and working with functional users to resolve operational and procedural problems. Responsible for the daily tasks associated with the maintenance of the Site’s stock record accountability and inventory accuracy goals. Responsible for Customer Service duties primarily facilitating customer requests for expediting requisitions, status updates on shipments, and inspections.

 

This position will be responsible for…..

    Perform and understand the technical aspects of inventory and storage management functions (Receiving / Induction, Customer requisitions, Transportation, etc.)
    Ability to understand and execute various tasks IAW with site established ESOC / Customer Service Plan.
    Based on Trends & Troubleshooting Analysis through Inventory Analysis & ESOC, Ability to organize process improvement training and provide to workforce.
    Perform causative research and reconcile inventory adjustments in stock records within required timeframes.
    Provide process and inventory analysis and make recommendations for improvements.
    Provide customer support responding to requests for information, inspections and shipping status with specified time frames.
    Coordinate with other commands/organizations to resolve supply distribution and readiness problems
    Checking e-mails from customers on daily basis.
    Provide scheduled escorted warehouse visits for customers (as approved) for technical inspections.
    Communicate with customers, obtaining feedback to measure and improve customer satisfaction.
    Perform in-storage inspections, minor repair of packaging, and limited testing of material to detect deterioration of material and/or packaging.
    Apply real time physical updates to NSN attributes at the bin face to change material identification, unit of pack and unit of issue.
    Ability to prepare, submit, monitor, and resolve supply discrepancy reports (customer complaint discrepancies and internal stock discrepancies).
    Maintain site and global records of NSNs, Local Stock Numbers (LSNs), CAGE and part numbers, and service unique stock numbers.
    Conduct location surveys (physical verifications) between assets physically in location and recorded in the locator record data.
    Perform routine workload analysis from storage management generated reports and prepare reports for management review.
    Ability to develop desk guides and Standard Operation Procedures for applicable processes. Submit for management review and approval.
    Ability to utilize Query Management Database Systems along with warehouse management system to provide management analysis reports for review.
    Ability to execute daily and short-to-long range projects with minimal supervision.
    Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
    Adhere to Government and Company policies and procedures.
    Other duties assigned in association with locally established Physical Inventory Plan (PICP) and Customer Service Plan (ESOC / CSP) workload requirements.

Education/Experience

    Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred and at least three years of experience using automated warehouse management systems.
    In lieu of degree, high school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
    Must be U.S. Citizen and possess valid driver’s license.
    Knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
    Skilled in planning, controlling, managing, multi-tasking and being responsible for the successful completion of work requirements.
    Experienced in inventory and/or supply management.
    Experienced in Customer Service: phone/email communication for customer assistance and troubleshooting.
    Computer literate with proven experience using a warehouse management system (WMS). Distribution Standard System (DSS) and/or Query Management Facility (QMF) database experience is a plus.
    Computer literate with proven experience in desktop computer operating systems preferably. Microsoft programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Office.Experience with RedPrairie WMS systems and Oracle Databases preferred.
