As a Process Engineer you will be assigned to a project task force working on Technical and economic feasibility studies or Process design packages or Process engineering support for detailed engineering activities.

About You

We would love to hear from you if your profile meets the following requirements:

Qualifications:

    Minimum 5 to 10 years design experience in Concept, Pre-FEED, FEED and detail Engineering projects in Oil and Gas industry in reputed engineering consultancy companies.
    Bachelor Degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering

Main Skills:

    Proficiency in use of Process simulation software
    Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
    Strong work ethics and desire to grow professionallly
    Understanding of chemical engineering fundamentals

Job Purpose

Process Engineer is required to carry out specific duties and responsibilities to support the process team for proposals and projects in Concept design, Pre FEED, FEED and Detailed engineering.

    Develop professional process engineering competencies to provide future engineering capacity within process discipline
    Accountable for successful completion of assigned engineering tasks and preparation of process engineering documents
    Performing design activities assigned by Process Lead Engineer
    Preparing process equipment and instrument related documents for project requirement within a given time frame
    Working with information, checking for accuracy of documents
    Refer to technical manuals and prepare process deliverables
    Understanding the required outcome of particular procedures
    Review design documents / drawings prepared by the design team
    Keep up to date with new developments of standards, process software, procedures and implement it to the day to day work

    Together with the process team develop sizing calculations for Process equipment (Pumps, Heat Exchangers, Distillation columns, Compressors, Separators etc.) and provide information in the form of equipment data sheet
    Perform hydraulic calculations
    Work in compliance with all safety rules and regulations
    Prepare process specifications, drawings (PFD, P&ID’s etc.) and process deliverables mainly as listed below:
        Process Design basis
        Philosophy documents
        Process simulations
        Heat and mass balance
        Process flow diagrams
        P&I diagrams
        Process data sheets for equipment and Instrument
        Cause & effect charts
        Line list
