Web Designer - Tomsher, Dubai, UAE
Desired Skills and Experience:
Minimum 4 years experience as a web designer
Strong understanding of UI/UX design
Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX
Experience with sketching / illustration / and photo manipulation
A solid understanding of Responsive design / development
Advanced knowledge of PSD to HTML Conversion
Knowledge of latest web trends and possibilities
Good Knowledge of CMS (Wordpress, Magento, Joomla etc.) themes and templates.
Strong knowledge of creating custom themes.
A great sense of design
Excellent time-management skills and the ability to meet challenging deadlines for large corporate clients with exceptional organization skills and high attention to detail
Experience working with corporate style and branding guidelines
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Bachelors Degree in Graphic Arts, Multimedia Arts, and/or Interactive Design preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
THESE ARE A PLUS:
Previous experience in designing B2B and B2C portals
Advanced understanding of newsletter and emailer design
Experience with video production and editing
Comfortable working on Mac
