DESCRIPTION

The Site WHS Officer will be responsible for partnering with a site operations team in a delivery station to execute company safety policies and ensure compliance to all applicable local and regional regulations. By leveraging lean principles and kaizens, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in our processes to ensure a safe and healthful working environment for our Associates. A successful Site WHS Officer will demonstrate the ability to build trust and confidence with the Operations Team and inspire change through providing comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis.
The Site WHS Officer must be an effective communicator and send clear, concise and consistent messages, both verbally and in writing. You will instruct and train Operations Leaders in Amazon WHS policies and assist the operations site teams in incorporating our safety standards at their site. You will work to identify best practices and incorporate these standard methodologies into our standards to continuously improve the safety landscape.
Site WHS officer will possess excellent safety program knowledge as well as environmental and ergonomic knowledge and be able demonstrate this expertise when working with Operations.
The Site WHS officer will be a part of site WHS team and reports to site WHS manager. The WHS officer should be flexible to work in shifts.
Possess a thorough understanding of local/regional regulations and company policy.


Key job responsibilities
- Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to all applicable Amazon WHS standards/Policies.
- Measure site performance against published requirements in safety policies. For all deficiencies, identify a plan for the site to implement and fix all identified deficiencies.
- Deliver on-time and quality projects to Operations.
- Analyze safety metrics and review incident weekly and monthly incident trends to discover trends to rationalize the allocation of appropriate resources to areas where the safety risk is highest.
- Ensure proper Incident Investigation and closure of Corrective action and preventive action.
- Perform frequent site safety audits to identify all non-compliance equipment and/or processes at the site.
- Implement solutions to eliminate exposure to these risks and prevent injury.
- Audit record-keeping practices and ensure Austin entries to be aligned with global WHS standards and local regulations.
- Audit the workplace organization and Associate behaviors to ensure that training, auditing and scoring methods are accurate and consistent.
- Lead and mentor Safety Associates in your assigned facility during peak.
- Spend time at the delivery station and seek input from Safety teams, Associates and leaders on safety program improvement opportunities. Ensure open communication on status of progress and resolution against these suggestions.
- Ensure site leadership and Associates are trained and knowledgeable of their responsibilities under each policy. Audit the quality, delivery (including qualifications of the trainer), and effectiveness of all required safety training.
- Ensure the PPE’s inventory at site and coordinate with procurement will place order accordingly.
- Ensure site PPE compliance.
- You have to implement the best practices at site.
- Implement PIT (powered industrial truck) safety and yard safety system.
- Ensure standard Work Permit System usage at site.
- Implement and ensure safe contractor management at site.
- Ensure basic safety training calendar for associates and imparting trainings as per the same.
- Work along with facility team and ensure preventive maintenance of all Fire protection and emergency equipment’s
- Ensure basic Fire Fighting training and first aid training requirements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- WHS Experience/or WHS qualifications
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental, ergonomics or a related field required.
- NEBOSH or IOSH certified.
- Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment.
- Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
- Good communicator - English & local language
- Available to work flexible shifts including days, nights and/or weekends
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of growing responsibilities in safety and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
- Experienced in emergency response.

 Responsibilities

Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a Principal Industry Consultant.

 

This is a senior position within the Enterprise Asset Management Pre-Sales group which falls within Asset Lifecycle Intelligence Division of Hexagon AB. The role is global in nature and reports to the Manager of Pre-Sales (Business Architecture). This position requires an in depth understanding of the day-to-day workings and business processes within the Services Industry with firsthand knowledge of how relevant business processes are deployed around asset management.

 

For this position, the primary focus is on Asset Lifecycle Management in which the role of the HxGN EAM solution is key. However, Hexagon AB houses multiple software solutions for different aspects of the industry and it is expected that the successful candidate will develop an interest and knowledge in other Hexagon solutions relevant for the operators of infrastructure related to services. An Industry Consultant works closely with multiple teams within the HxGN EAM Business including: product strategy; product management; sales; business solution consulting; implementation partners; and internal delivery teams. Additionally, they will need to work with other Hexagon business units and divisions when opportunities or marketing requires such collaboration.

 

The Principal Industry Consultant maintains two core responsibilities:

 

    Developing and maintaining an Industry Point of View, based on experience, industry knowledge and industry engagement that can provide a framework for sales to successfully penetrate the Industry Services and others.
    Partner with Account Executives on their larger deals, including assisting with strategy development and executive presentations.

 

 

The Industry Consultant will:

 

    Be the main contact for non EAM ALI Presalers in Middle East.
    Be responsible for Enablement of non EAM (Sales) / Presales / Partners.
    Be responsible of Enablement for new EAM PreSales.
    Be responsible for integration into other ALI Products and non ALI but Hexagon Products.
    Help submit requests to PSE from the Middle East region on Roadmap / Enablement Package.
    Support large EAM MilddleEast Opportunities when we need "Extensibility" Support.
    Be responsible for knowledge Management for EAM.
    Act as first point of contact to GPS and the Solution Architect team.

 
Qualifications

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including being a confident and articulate speaker.
    As the role is global in nature being able to clearly communicate in the company’s standard language (British English) is important, multiple languages will be viewed positively.
    Experience working within the asset intensive Services industry, preferably in a senior position that provides good across the board knowledge of the industry segment.
    Experience working with competitor solutions in the EAM/APM/AIP space in a similar role or an equivalent time with consulting firms servicing the industry.
    Engineering/Business degree or equivalent qualification/experience.
    Ability to understand and communicate with all levels in an organization.
    Excellent presentation skills, previous experience of C-Level Presentation, Customer communication/handling.

About the role

    Follow the EH&S procedure/policy of company as per ASP manual.
    Preparation of all relevant documents and System Update
    Stock counting, verification, reconciliation and update to supervisor
    Claims  Handling and proper record keeping.
    Warranty claim related inventory handling.

Requirements

We are looking for people who as a minimum you must have:

    Bachelor's degree in supply chain or equivalent.
    2-4 years related experience.
    Experience in 3PL is plus
