Junior Business Controller, Danone, Jeddah, KSA

Danone MENA is looking for a Junior Business Controller for its Specialized Business in Saudi, Pakistan & Sudan countries based in Jeddah, KSA. This role will support the Controlling lead on budget controlling, distributors' follow-up, and financial monitoring.

 

The candidate  will also carry the following responsibilities:

 

A- Key Accountabilities:

• Budget coordination & control of A&P, Trade Promo, and other Selling cost.

• Follow up on distributor collections and customers' accounts receivables in coordination with the Business services team.

• Responsible for material cost and CO analysis by SKU.

• Manage PO approvals as well as TP commitments.

• Manage Actual P&L database and Rolling Forecast Magnitude submission (P&L, Balance Sheet...).

• Support in the development of Country budgets from Ex-factory volumes to ROP.

• Help controlling lead in maintaining a strong control environment and support in year-end statutory audit, Danone internal audit requirements, and legal reports.

• Propose new business processes and procedures to drive efficiency.

 

B- Key Performance Indicators:

• No unexpected over- or under-spend vs. budget; variances are aligned and approved from regional management.

• Numbers (reporting, planning, forecasting) are submitted flawlessly and on time.

• Internal Control procedures are followed for KSA Office, and proper authorization is in place.

 

C- Job Dimensions:

• Geographic scope of the job: KSA , Pakistan & Sudan.

• Main internal relations: The role involves regular interaction between the Country manager, Country Business Controllers in other clusters and the BS team, but also x-functional relations to Marketing, Medical, IT, and HR.

• Main external relations: This role involves regular interactions with local suppliers and distributors

Operations Execution Specialist, High Access Logistics, Jeddah, KSA

JOB DESCRIPTION

Record, initiate enter the cargos or shipments to the logistics system to ensure existing information for further processing.

Pack, prepare, classify and hold the shipments according to destination and the routing to be handled by assigned staff.

Calculate, account and provide information about the shipment statistics; weight, destination, quantity, type, charge…etc.

Perform material handling, receive and deliver to the desired routing, processing, recipient or any other concerned party.

Communicate, coordinate, follow up and report about on processing or hold items to be manipulated, delivered to other parties, or provide feedback about status.

Provide presentable communications with clients and customer and provide them the desired level of service in answering their queries.

Perform filing and documentation issues as prescribed for them, and provide with vital assistance in keep records and following up status for under-processing shipments.

Carry out reception activities and consult customers about any queries, answer phones and emails regarding any issue.

Coordinates with clients to arrange for the provision of logistics services at the client’s site.

Collaborate and assess in serving other logistics operations as desired and requested by higher level management.

Organize and coordinate the formalities regarding the clearing of cargo or shipments at the port.

Communicates with other departments including sales and marketing to effectively plan and distribute the workload.

Ensures that site staff is of adequate numbers and competency to met the planned shipping schedules.

Follows procedures of reporting on performance, budgets and other reports required from time to time to the Direct Manager

Knowledge & Key Skills :

Significant knowledge of the industry and customer environment.

Ability to create strong sales and marketing strategies, team building practices.

Experience in business and sales action planning.

Fluent English & Arabic language skills ( preferred).

Cultural understanding of the KSA East area in projects Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical Market/Zone projects.

Degree in process or chemical or mechanical engineering.

Required Previous Experience

8 plus years experience in providing equipment to Oil & Gas, Power or Refinery industries project and communications networking .

Ideally experienced with a filtration and separations company.

Miscellaneous: 

Valid driving license

Valid passport

Transferable work permit

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare projections in line with the requirements of the business plan.

Develop/implement a marketing and sales plan to achieve projections and forecasts.

Achieve assigned quarterly sales and profit objectives.

Distributor and agent management and development.

Work with sales people and distributors to develop and implement individual sales action plans.

Identify key customers/market opportunities for business growth.

Establish/maintain key customer relationships (identifying, progressing and closing sales opportunities).

Assist with preparation of quotations or supply agreements.

Provide feedback for development of new products, applications, acquisitions and alliances.

Embrace and drive promotion of the new products and applications.

Provide inputs for the global / regional long term and strategic plans.

Monitor receivables with credit management team.

Ensure implementation of risk assessment procedure when appropriate.
