Job Description:
Mission summary
The person tasked to be the Regional Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) ensures that all digital security risks on the Region’s perimeter of digital assets are assessed and monitored Company-wide (for Airbus and its divisions), and that appropriate measures are in place to mitigate such security risks down to an acceptable level.
Reporting operationally to the Head of Region Security, and functionally to Airbus Corporate Chief Information Security Officer (Corporate CISO), the Regional CISO is responsible for digital security related topics across IT, Industrial, Product & Services and People & Workplace (when relevant) for Airbus entities in the Region at cross-division level, and their controlled or joint-controlled affiliates.
Acting as the central voice for digital security in the Region, he is responsible for:
Executing the digital security strategy, implementing the associated operating model and monitoring digital security risks;
Ensuring compliance with Airbus digital security policies, and local laws & regulations;
Managing digital security budgets;
Facilitating the recruitment, retention and development of digital security profiles.
Primary responsibilities
Digital Security Strategy, Operating Model, and Risk (50%):
Adapt and execute locally the digital security strategy, in line with the worldwide Corporate and Divisional digital security strategies;
Arbitrate and prioritize digital security operations and hot topics;
Drive a consistent overall planning, adherence and operating model of the local digital security operations, derived from a transparent and shared business risk-based framework and priorities;
Collect, monitor, manage and report on digital security risks;
Represent respective Division CISO interests and coordinate accordingly for Divisional specific digital security topics in the Region;
Enable business and transformation on digital security matters;
Ensure business projects undergo digital security validation processes.
Legal & Compliance (20%):
Ensure compliance with Airbus internal policies and directives;
Ensure compliance with regional digital security laws and regulations;
Represent Airbus and interact with local digital security authorities.
Financial resources (20%):
Manage and monitor digital security budgets in the Region;
Define and implement a local digital security Make or Buy strategy, derived from and aligned with the Corporate and regional Make or Buy strategies.
Human resources, talents & competences (10%):
Facilitate the recruitment of digital security profiles, in line with the local, affiliate and corporate recruitment plans;
Adapt, tailor and execute locally the Corporate attractiveness & retention plan, the competence & development plan and the diversity & inclusion plan.
