 Job summary:

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer, who creates and iterates end to end user experiences from concept to implementation using holistic design thinking to solve business obstacles and empower users across multiple products on desktop and mobile. You will bring concepts to reality through the use of various visualization practices and collaborating with a team of designers and developers.

Responsibilities:

• Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback/Design ideal customer-centric experiences while also providing iterative short-term approaches.

• Incorporate customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience

• Advocate for the user by developing deliverables such as sketches, wireframes, mockups, user flows, and interactive prototypes in order to meet business needs and user requirements./ 

• Designs and creates UI interfaces and UX wireframes on product platforms; ensure text, images, and other information is accurate and aligns with brand standards.

• Conduct rapid prototyping of new ideas and iterative design get the functionality in the hands of stakeholders for evaluation faster.

• Translate requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces

• Use color, fonts, and pictography to enhance the user experience./Generate and manipulate graphic images, text, backgrounds, cards, logos, and buttons on application screens for customers, including application re-brands

• Recommend and implement enhancements to the existing design and overall design system

• Design UI elements such as input controls, navigational components and informational components

• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (eg: responsiveness)

• Collaborate effectively with product, engineering, and management teams to present design concepts to product management, customer success, development, and external clients.

Technical requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Engineering, Business, or related industry.

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX designing

• Experience designing personas and user journeys

• Ability to wireframe and prototype your solutions on Figma

• Visual design skills with proficiency in typography, UI, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense and how these elements impact product function

• Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Invision, Abstract, Figma, etc to clearly illustrate the web and mobile application function and look like and conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.

• Have a strong familiarity with the latest web and app design trends.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in digital design to large CX websites as well as commerce solutions.
• A candidate with both a great understanding for graphical design as well as more conceptual creativity, with a design background, respecting the UX and what impact every small bit of design has on the overall experience.
• A great team player experienced in working with agile teams. An ability to collaborate closely with other creatives, developers and copywriters.
• Translating concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experience.
• Use design, mock-ups, wireframes, prototypes, style guides and user flows to effectively communicate ideas to colleagues, clients and other project stakeholders.
• Ability to take design decisions based on an either an overall design roadmap or based on your own experience design justification.
• Execute on all phases of the design process from wireframing concepts / mocks to final hand-off to programmers
• Conduct industry and competitive research on UI best practices and solutions to UI challenges
• Translate wireframes into high-quality user interface designs using industry best practices
• Proactively identify and suggest solutions to resolve user experience problems and friction points

QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS

• A portfolio of work demonstrating experience leading or managing the design of complex systems across multiple touchpoints.
• Previous solid experience in responsive web design & web development technologies and understanding of the capabilities of web browsers across multiple platforms.
• Proficiency in building cross-browser and cross-device responsive interfaces.
• Proficiency of the user experience discipline and a solid understanding of all relevant methodologies such as persona creation, consumer journey mapping, service blueprints, usability testing and accessibility concerns etc.
• Mastery with design tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator or Adobe’s Experience Designer.
• Mastery with prototyping software such as Axure, InVision or UXPin.
• Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
