Task Description:

    Maintains security of cash. Ensures that cash tallies with daily sales reports. Ensure that transfers or collections of cash to / from the Head Office are promptly, correctly and securely handled.
    Ensures daily banking is reconciled with no discrepancies, completing all necessary documentation/updating all records including reporting of discrepancies.
    Monitors cashier performance, and reports back to Department/Store Managers.
    Assists customers and/or store managers with refunds / exchanges and resolves credit problems.
    Reconciles store transfer documentation. Maintains store administration records

Job Role:

    Handling all cash transactions of the Company.
    Receive payments by Cash, Cheques, K-Net, Credit Cards, etc.
    Check payment vouchers before making payments to customers/employees.
    Check daily cash accounts.
    Provide guidance and solve queries from customers.
    Count the cash money at the start and end of the work day.
    Maintain and update daily report and reconcile it with cash on hand.
    Reconcile and tally it with K-Net transactions.
    Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Cashier.

Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years’ related field
Fluent in English & Arabic languages (written & spoken)
High School Certificate / Graduate
Age group: below 35 years
Computer literate (knowledge of Kerridge would be an advantage)

YOUR TASKS:

    On a daily basis receive all remittances (cash and cheques) from couriers , front counter and express centers. ( duty payments , cash sales,cod and clients accounts payment).
    Rreconcile cash sales, monitoring all un-remitted cash sales, to determine all un-manifested AWB’s and to detect all other reconciled items affecting both the Cash Receipt Book and Manifest Lists (e.g. over/under manifested AWB’s).
    Input daily account payments and reconcile the Cash Batch Status printouts against the Daily Collection Report.
    Reconcile all Sub Station reports by checking all Deposit Slips, Account Payments and AWB’s against submitted Weekly Receipts Summary.
    Check all substation Daily Cash Summary Reports against Manifest List to see if all cash sales have been remitted.
    Accounts Payment are being reconciled against cash batch status to daily collection reports ( CRB)
    Update TTD and COD schedule and follow up of returned cheques.

YOUR PROFILE:

    Degree in Accountancy with SOCPA reg.
    Accounting background preferred.
    Knowledge in Excel.
