About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah Riyadh within the Safety and Security team in Riyadh, the Safety Officer is responsible for maintaining the overall safety and security of our facilities and personnel. You will play a pivotal role in upholding our commitment to providing a secure and protected environment for all stakeholders, while also ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards.
As Safety Officer, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Patrol and Monitoring: Conduct routine patrols of the premises to identify and address any potential security or safety hazards. Monitor surveillance equipment and respond to any suspicious activities or breaches of security.
Access Control: Implement and maintain access control procedures to safeguard the premises and restrict unauthorized entry. Manage visitor registration and provide access badges as necessary.
Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergency situations such as fires, medical emergencies, and security threats. Coordinate with emergency services and help during crisis situations.
Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
As Safety Officer, we expect from you:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels within the organization.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, demonstrating effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Strong sense of integrity and ethical conduct, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of security and safety.
Detail-oriented and observant, with a keen eye for identifying potential security risks and safety hazards.
To carry out any other reasonable duties as required by ExCom or the Director of Security
