In this First Choice Lead position
- Execute business process quality & improvement plans and processes to achieve defined business objectives
- Conduct regular Gemba walks to monitor live operations.
- Undertake process improvement initiatives in various areas such as sorting, warehousing, export documentation, transportation and freight forwarding operations to increase efficiency and quality to provide benefits to internal and external customers
- Resolve issues, reconcile data and use a structured approach to understand process improvement needs and to estimate potential benefits
- Suggest innovative process improvements and control methods, and develop them further
- Recommend performance indicators such as delivery time, damages, etc. to measure process dimensions and process improvements
- Recommend innovative process improvements and quality control methods, and develop them further
- Track KPIs and provide structured quality performance dashboards
- Adhere to project timelines, quality objectives and defined budgets
- Support implementation and hand over of solutions to the business owners
- Draft content and deliver training on business process improvement methodologies
- Coach consistent and effective application of the process excellence methodologies and share knowledge
- Connect with and influence other specialist departments and 3rd parties e.g. external service providers
- May convince others to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
- Build strong, trusting cross-functional relationships with DHL managers
- Understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns and advise direct reports, customers and key stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance to line managers and employees

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification (Preferrable Industrial Engineers)
Experience Level
More than 4 years
Preferably who has experience in Supply Chain or Freight Forwarding
