Role Overview:
Orbit ISS is hiring a QC Coordinator with UAE experience to manage quality control operations across oil & gas, fabrication, and construction projects. The ideal candidate will handle client coordination, vendor registration, third-party inspections, and quality documentation while ensuring compliance with project and industry standards. Strong communication, reporting, and organizational skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor QC and inspection activities across project sites and fabrication yards.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC plans, ITPs, and international standards (ASME, AWS, API).
- Prepare project and monthly reports, maintaining proper documentation and inspection records.
- Serve as the main point of contact between the client and the company for QC and project matters.
- Attend bids, client meetings, and third-party inspections as required.
- Support client acquisition and vendor registration processes.
- Participate in audits and contribute to continuous improvement of quality systems.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
- 10–15 years of QC coordination experience in the UAE oil & gas or fabrication industry
- Valid UAE Driver’s License.
- Certifications: CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2, BGAS / NACE, and ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of ASME, AWS, API, and ISO standards
- Proven ability to manage inspection teams and maintain timely documentation
- Project Management Professional Certificate is a plus.
Preferred Attributes:
- Fluent in English and can speak Arabic.
- Experience in offshore and onshore project environments.
- Good understanding of welding, coating, NDT, and mechanical inspection processes.
- Familiarity with client specifications (e.g., ADNOC, ARAMCO, or EPC contractors).
