We need a Software Developer,

Overview:

**This position is physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP**

The successful candidate should have data-analytics algorithm development experience, communications skills, and both front-end web and back-end engine development skills. Must own duties that evolve from software and algorithm design to HTML/CSS prototypes to finished digital product. Responsibilities include development, maintenance and support of in-house web applications, development of intranet and internet webpages and creation, operation and maintenance of SharePoint sites in addition to development of SharePoint-based applications. The ideal candidate must be proficient with XML and understanding of Rules Management in Maximo. Should be skilled in inbound and outbound integration processing, XML and Schemas, XML Web etc.

Responsibilities:

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

• Development using C#/Python/HTML/CSS/JavaScript & associated frameworks, databases, and backend technology
• Development of standard and nonstandard analytics, including statistical and graph analytics, machine learning, deep learning
• Work with the team to gain an initial understanding of the desired solution, and iteratively develop and refine the UI and backend
• Participate in product development from concept to execution to launch to ensure the product fully serves the needs of the end user
• Team collaboration
• Develop documentation
• Provide technical assistance and support as required
• Develops and maintains software modules of web, database and work collaboration applications in support of authorized software and
• Maintains software program standards and procedures for software development projects
• Assists with defining requirements, recommending solutions and implementing desired solutions
• Recommend and coordinate resolution of software problems when discrepancies are identified
• Advise project teams in the use of software engineering technologies providing instruction, consultant and guidelines on software
• Provide continuing investigation of methods to improve software quality and software development productivity
• Development and management of intranet and internet web pages
• Create and publish on local intranet/SharePoint site local home book/contract information
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. Use the guide below to determine education and experience for this position.
• Education/Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (BSCS), Engineering, Science or similar field and/or equivalent work experience. IT related certifications desirable.
  • Must be a US National
  • Must have a Valid Home Country Drivers License to be able to obtain Host Country Drivers License
  • Must have an Active Security Clearance and be able to maintain
• Skills
  • Proficiency in testing frameworks and writing tests
  • Proficiency in common development tools, such as Git and DevOps
  • Must have the ability to read, write and communicate orally in English with a high level of proficiency
  • Must possess a proficient level of computer skills in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
  • 3-5 years’ experience developing and maintaining web servers in a Microsoft Environment Servers and SharePoint
  • 1-3 years development experience with VB, Java, .NET or equivalent tools.
• Working Conditions
  • The worker may be required to spend extended time in a computer room environment.
• Physical Requirements
  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
