Technician (Automotive), Sitrah, Bahrain

First Motors is seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our expanding automotive division. Based in Bahrain, this is a fantastic full-time opportunity for an experienced professional to become part of a company with a strong local foundation and a global vision. The ideal candidate will be a meticulous and knowledgeable technician, committed to delivering exceptional quality service and upholding our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities:
* Performing comprehensive diagnostic tests on vehicle systems and components to identify faults and malfunctions.* Conducting routine servicing and maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tyre rotations.* Repairing or replacing defective parts, such as brakes, engines, steering, suspension, and electrical components.* Utilising state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to ensure accurate fault finding and resolution.* Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all work performed on each vehicle.* Adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations and workshop procedures.* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and within the allocated time.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience working as an Automotive Technician or in a similar role.* A relevant vocational qualification or certification in automotive technology or mechanics.* In-depth knowledge of various vehicle systems, including electrical, engine, and transmission.* Proficiency in using a wide range of diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.* Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.* A valid driving licence is required.
