Job Description
Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Officer - Liability and Lending Payments to join our dynamic team in Manama, Bahrain. This position offers a full-time, office-based role for professionals eager to support critical banking operations with precision and diligence. As a vital contributor to our Liability and Lending Payments unit, the successful candidate will play an instrumental role in facilitating accurate payment processing, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and maintaining strong client relationships.
 
The role demands a proactive approach to financial operations, requiring someone who can navigate ambiguity, provide clarity and guidance to peers, and collaborate effectively across diverse teams. This opportunity provides a platform to develop technical competencies specific to financial services while driving strategic initiatives that align with our organizational vision and customer-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities 
Manage and oversee the end-to-end processing of liability and lending payments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory guidelines.Collaborate closely with internal departments such as compliance, risk management, and customer service to ensure seamless payment operations and resolve discrepancies.Conduct thorough analyses of payment transactions to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for process improvements.Provide clarity and guidance to team members and stakeholders on complex payment issues, promoting an action-oriented and solution-focused environment.Support the development and implementation of new payment systems and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulatory changes, and best practices relevant to liability and lending payments.Contribute to team training initiatives to build collective expertise and foster nimble learning.Drive initiatives aligned with the bank's strategic vision to deliver exceptional customer experiences.Our Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong strategic mindset and possess excellent technical competencies related to financial operations within the banking sector.
