We need a Head of Exports
Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic export sales plans aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
- Identify and acquire new customers across East African markets.
- Strengthen relationships with existing distributors, partners, and key accounts to ensure consistent sales performance.
- Conduct regular market visits to assess opportunities, monitor competitor activity, and enhance brand presence.
- Lead market entry strategies and channel expansion initiatives in target countries.
- Coordinate with internal teams on pricing, logistics, and production planning to meet export demand efficiently.
- Monitor and analyze export sales data to track performance, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, documentation, and trade requirements in all markets.
- Mentor and guide the export sales team to deliver on growth targets and customer satisfaction objectives.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (mandatory).
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales within the food & beverage industry, with at least 5 years in export management or regional sales leadership.
