We are looking for an S/4HANA Program Specialist for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Doha, onshore

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: DEC-2026

Work status: Single, residential

Qualification and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related Engineering discipline; or equivalent experience.
• Experience in oil & gas sector is a preference.
• 10+ years' hands on experience and proficiency in SAP core processes and functional modules, understanding of working principles of SAP solutions, as well as ERP / Agile implementation methodology.
• Competency on various SAP modules and related data objects
• Strong data analytic skills and knowledge of project scoping and implementation activities
• Experience and knowledge about SAP S/4HANA are extra advantage.
• Communication and leadership skills to manage, coordinate people, and conduct meetings.
• Fluent English both spoken and written.
• Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and work with diverse project teams.
• Ability to solve complex problems with systematic and structured approach.
• Demonstrated teamwork, self-management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Demonstrated a strong work ethic and willing to take the lead on his/her own initiative, meet deadlines, and produce consistent high-quality work.

Activities

• The S/4HANA Program specialist will play a pivotal role, in collaboration with the S/4HANA Functional Project Team & Technical Subject Matter Experts (SME's) in business entities, to provide overall business process and data requirements and future solution definition within the context of S/4HANA project scoping and implementation.

Key responsibilities will include:

Liaison and Stakeholder Management:

• Serve as the main point of contact between the business entities and the SAP S/4HANA project team.
• Ensure clear and effective communication of project goals, timelines, and progress to all business stakeholders.

Requirements Gathering and Design:

• Lead the gathering of business requirements during the design phase.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to define the "to-be" processes.
• Ensure that business needs and requirements are accurately captured and communicated to the project team.
• Influencing business for best practice, standardization, and integration to achieve optimization of business processes and data management at organization and corporate level.
• Main representative of own domain in S/4HANA project with strong voice in advocating how the business processes best practice and standard should be implemented within S/4HANA landscape.
• Discuss possible changes, impacts, and improvements in the process flows.
• Define business processes and produce in documentation, by considering own domain requirements and other entities that are impacted holistically and in integrated manner.
• Use knowledge and understanding of horizontal and vertical business processes and various touch points with other disciplines in assessing for the best method that benefit the entire organization.
• Identify ways to maximize the use of new S/4HANA functional capabilities, changes in processes, method, and innovation for the entity to work more efficiently and save costs.

Business Process

• Provide documentations and inputs in timely manner to S/4HANA project workshops and activities, by coordinating with the business stakeholders and Business Process Owners (BPO's), with regard to as-is and to-be business process, and data requirements.
• Identify gaps and pain points that need to be addressed as part of S/4HANA project scope.
• Ensure S/4HANA solution is aligned with the business strategy and the roadmap.
• Close collaboration with other S/4HANA Program Specialists to ensure there is a focus on providing integrated and cross functional solutions.
• Work with S/4HANA project team to ensure consistent project engagement to result in quality deliverables.
• Involvement in the resolution of project issues which impact respective own entity.
• Support proof of concept sessions for solutioning activities by providing knowledge and experience perspectives related to business processes and information on data.
• Review and endorse completeness and quality of business process and data related documentations.

Change Management:

• Drive the change management process within the business, ensuring smooth transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
• Advocate for and support business process re-engineering to align with SAP S/4HANA best practices.

End-User Training:

• Identify and select end-users to lead training efforts.
• Coordinate with training teams to develop and deliver effective training programs for all users. o Ensure that end-users are well-prepared and confident in using the new SAP S/4HANA system.

Testing and Validation:

• Collaborate with process SMEs to design and execute comprehensive testing plans.
• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the system meets business requirements and expectations.
• Document and report any issues, ensuring timely resolution by the project team.
• Identify valid business test cases and scenarios for testing execution.
• Provide test data according to test scenario requirements.
• Prepare and execute testing for solution components, scenarios, and data throughout project phases.

Continuous Improvement:

• Actively seek feedback from end-users and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
• Work with the project team to implement enhancements and optimizations post-go-live.
• Look into long term opportunity for continuous optimization after S/4HANA go-live.

Data Migration

• Provide requirements, in coordination with the respective domain data owners, for data extraction, cleansing, migration, data quality and data validation.
• Provide inputs, data gap analysis, and recommendation for data standardization and management.
• Collaborate with S/4HANA functional and technical SME's for data definition and integration requirements
• Review and endorse data design and conversion approach and specification document.
