We need a Procurement Coordinator
Job Description
- After receipt of purchase requisition from department, the review purchase requisition with respect to information provided.
- Send Request for Quote to approved suppliers.
- Prepare and compare the quote from different suppliers.
- Prepares instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.
- Prepares and issues purchase orders and change notices.
- Coordination and support with purchase manger for the supplier approval process.
- Expedite or follow up with supplier or external providers for shipment .
- Responsible to maintain the supplier performance in supplier history after receipt inspection.
- Responsible to collect the suppliers legal and applicable documents for effective updation of supplier information.
- Follow up with Store department for internal shipment clearance and receiving inspection .
- Recruits and maintains suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a better price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.
- Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
- Negotiates or supervises the negotiation of complex requests for equipment, supplies, and services from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Controlling and Managing all purchasing of sub contract requirements.
- Actively participates with all Sub-Contractors, and Supplier to establish the HSE.
Skills
Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Individual must be able to follow instructions.
Should be able to work closely and communicate interactively with all levels of employees.
Working Knowledge MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
