Materials Handling

Responsible for conducting warehouse operations within the facility, including material handling and documentation. Monitor activities to safeguard company assets and ensure that documentation reflects all material transactions accurately and consistently.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day tasks at the warehouse, such as safely loading and unloading material from trucks/warehouses, ensuring the material's integrity
• Ensure proper placement and storage of materials in the warehouse according to standards to make sure materials are not lost or damaged due to incorrect practices
• Post all data entry transactions related to the procurement of material & equipment with the correct documentation, including but not limited to Material Receipts, Material Demand Slips, and Material Inventory Adjustments
• Track and record maximum and minimum inventory levels set by end users to prevent stock shortages and avoid excess inventory buildup
• Operate a forklift or telehandler safely and ensure proper material handling throughout the operation
• Assist with expediting the delivery of materials to support the field when required
• Collaborate with the Logistics team to manage material trucking safely, cost-effectively, and on schedule
• Ensure a safe working environment at the warehouse by identifying substandard conditions and potentially hazardous situations and report them to manager
• Ensure that the warehouse is maintained at a high level of housekeeping
• Conduct daily warehouse transactions, functions, and activities to ensure accurate and timely entry of all transactional data into SAP, and generate weekly materials-related reports from SAP for all end users as require
• Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE, and all the Company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions and guidelines
• Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager

Summary

• Minimum a secondary school education or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a company operating in the energy sector (operator, contractor, or supplier), or heavy construction / civil engineering sectors – desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office; working knowledge of SAP systems would be a plus
• Working knowledge of materials, production, gas plant, fire - safety and maintenance
• Demonstrated ability to perform on time and work in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with a positive attitude and high integrity
• Able to operate material handling equipment like; hand-truck, pallet-jack, forklift, telehandler etc

Fluent in English, both written and spoken; Arabic proficiency is a plus

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

Diploma holder maximum 2-3 years experience

• Minimum a secondary school education or equivalent
