Key Responsibilities – Category Manager Makeup Position

• Category Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product category strategy for the makeup category, driving sales, profitability, and growth across all channels.
• Assortment & Merchandising: Curate, source, and manage a compelling, on-trend selection of makeup products, ensuring a dynamic and competitive assortment that meets consumer needs.
• Supplier and Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with makeup brand partners and suppliers, negotiating terms and ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery.
• Market Analysis: Analyze consumer trends, competitor offerings, and sales data to identify opportunities for growth, assortment optimization, and product innovation within the makeup category.
• Pricing and Promotion: Define pricing strategies and promotional activities to maximize sales, margin, and market share, collaborating closely with marketing and ecommerce teams.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with key departments including marketing, sales, logistics, and operations to deliver seamless category management and successful campaign execution.
• Performance Monitoring: Track category KPIs and performance metrics, preparing regular reports and adapting the strategy for continuous improvement in the makeup division.
• Customer Focus: Gather feedback from customers and internal teams to inform assortment decisions, improve the online shopping experience, and ensure high levels of satisfaction in the makeup category.

Skills and Requirements – Makeup Product Category Management Careers

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in category management, buying, or merchandising, ideally within the beauty, makeup, or FMCG sectors.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and anticipate market trends in the makeup industry.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills with suppliers, brands, and cross-functional teams.
• Comfort with digital retail platforms, category management tools, and ecommerce analytics.
• Proficient verbal and written communication in English; Arabic is an asset.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a high level of organizational and project management skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, inclusivity, and professional development.
