Long Description Job Summary
To follow up erection of Kirby buildings and report the quality of erection.
Also, to assist in solving site problems or fabrication mistakes.
Job Responsibilities
- Follow up the installation of anchor bolts at site and report any problem to the ASM for further action.
- Follow up and inform customer about the shipment of materials.
- Monitor the storing quality of Kirby materials at site.
- Supervise on as needed basis the erection at site and assist in solving any problem at no responsibility on Kirby (for supply orders).
- If required will check final erection and recommend issuing a final erection certificate that materials
- Check any customer claim at site for short shipped materials or any quality issue (EX: wrong detailing, wrong fabrication, bad painting ...ETC), and if the claim is valid will report to the ASM and prepare official claim form and follow up issuing and arrival of RM (rectification materials).
- Assist in any required site measurements.
- Assist in preparing the Straight sale forms.
- Prepare site visit reports and Take progress photographs for all and especially major projects for quality issues and for marketing also.
- Co-ordinate /propose the best shipping schedules for big projects as per customer site needs with PMG.
- For projects which Kirby takes erection in our scope, in addition to the points mentioned above, fully responsible for the entire erection activity
o Represents Kirby at sites and attend all site meetings, manage the subcontractors and ensure quality all erections work on time and safety requirements.
o Issue daily site activity reports or as the situation demands.
o Ensure adequacy of manpower and equipment at site.
o Check and certify invoices from Erector to Kirby
o Follow up approval of our periodic progressive invoices to client/ follow-up and ensure collections
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge
- Bachelor in Civil Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering
- Good command of English is a must in addition to Arabic or Hindi
- Good knowledge of computer applications
- Experience in preparing schedules for erection and the required manpower.
- 5 years experience in engineering applications (Detailing / Construction).
- Additional experience as Tech Rep. of PEB / SS is a must.
- Engineering / IT skills / English Language.
- Erection experience.
- Exposure to Safety standards/ Quality control/detailing of PEB/ Budgeting the MH for site rectifications / erection cost and schedules.
- Experience in field rectifications of steel members.
