Job Description
In accordance with Bahrain labour law, only Bahraini Nationals will be considered for this role.
Looking to kickstart your career in transport planning and gain work experience? At AECOM, we design and deliver some of the world’s most complex infrastructure projects – and we’re looking for talented students to join us this summer as part of our Intern Program 2025.
What You’ll Do
As a Transport Planning Intern, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers and planners to support the delivery of projects across the region. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with transport modelling, data analysis, and the preparation of reports and presentations
Supporting the development of technical drawings, calculations, and design sketches
Using software tools such as AutoCAD, GIS, and Microsoft Excel to analyse and present transport-related data
Participating in design reviews and coordination meetings
Learning to work within project schedules and budgets
Collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to contribute to transport strategy and planning solutions
Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, expected to graduate in 2026Maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.3 or a 2:1 classification (or equivalent)
Must be a Bahraini National
