About the Team
We are looking for a new colleague in our department Marine Service & Commissioning at our location in Dubai.
What you can look forward to as a Marine Service Engineer (m/f/d):
Carrying out Overhauling of ZF Thrusters and Gearboxes at customer locations/ ZF Marine Workshop as required.
Perform installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities at customer site locations. Must be capable of working unsupervised and leading small teams.
Perform Inspection and troubleshooting activities at site locations to diagnose problems, determine appropriate resolution, and implements corrective action.
Provide continuous, 24 hours by 7 day a week, support in response to customer calls for service.
Under the direction of Service Manager, perform a wide range of engineering tasks to ensure the technical integrity and proper installation and commissioning of ZF Marine propulsion system and its controls.
Your Profile as a Marine Service Engineer (m/f/d):
Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited university or college.
Minimum 8-9 years of experience for field service and commissioning of Marine Propulsion System equipment.
In the total experience, at least 5 years’ experience in Maintenance / Overhauling of Azimuth Thrusters/ Tunnel Thrusters would be preferred.
Basic Understanding of Ship’s Propulsion controls and its functioning.
Basic Understanding and troubleshooting skills on Hydraulic system and its components.
English skill is required, other languages are an advantage.
