THE POSITION 

We are hiring a Continuous Improvement & Real Estate and Facility Manager for IMETA (India, Middle East, Turkey, Africa) based in Dubai.

The position reports directly to the Head of Finance & Administration IMETA with dotted line reporting to the Head of Security & Crisis Management, EHS IMETA.

The first half of the position consist of “IMETA Continuous Improvement”: The core of this part of the role is to propose, manage and implement projects & initiatives required to enhance business processes for all businesses and functions of the ROPU with the aim to achieve efficiency gains, meet compliance and internal control requirements, and/or address strategic targets as endorsed or required by CMD and ExCom.

The second half of the position is covering the “IMETA Real Estate & Facility Management”: on this part of the role, the successful candidate will be responsible to break down and execute global RE&FM strategy, priorities, and targets for the IMETA region and sites (including translation of the global strategy into regional action plans), the aggregation of feedback regarding input from local Heads to design and optimization of standards and processes or site performance to Global Real Estate & Facility Management.

Tasks & responsibilities 

Adapting global standards and targets to regional/country specifics and communicate them to the countries and sites across the region
Supports the execution and implementation of real estate solutions
Supporting internal approval processes as well as coordination with stakeholder/ businesses and functions, including financial analyses
To build and maintain the continuous improvement program within the ROPU IMETA, including program governance, reporting, and stakeholder management to support the senior management in its task to steer projects within the ROPU
Seek permanently for new opportunities for improvement projects, challenge existing processes and status quo, initiate and provide solutions to operational challenges with the aim of gaining efficiencies, improving productivity and effectiveness within the organization
To partner with ROPU IMETA Management Team and with OPU Management.
Effectively lead and drive key projects to transform the ROPU IMETA into a high performing organization
Requirements 

Degree in Business Administration, Economics, IT, or an education in Facility Management 
Technical education with in-service training in the field of Facility Management and proven practical experience
Effective management of resources (FTE & monetary) in ROPU & OPUs to achieve the goals of Continuous Improvement projects for IMETA and leading project teams without hierarchical lever
Excellent project management skills (planning, analyzing, structuring)
Competencies

Highly motivated, independent working, winning personality, determination to fulfill the task.
Excellent communication and social competencies. Teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate technical and business concepts and plans to colleagues and senior management.
Open to be exposed to a multi-cultural environment under demanding expectations.
Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting concepts and processes.
High level of technical know-how on operational and Microsoft tools (Advanced Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint and more)
Strong analytical skills, logic, and reasoning
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and experience working in cross-functional teams
Strong negotiation skills, structured and ‘get things done’ work attitude
Open to digital transformation and agile ways of working
