As Assistant Credit Manager you’ll be assisting manage the overall operation of the credit and collection. Ensure not to exceed credit limits and highlight the cost-saving areas.
Your day-to-day:
Supervises and participates in collecting all outstanding accounts receivables of the hotel within established standards.
Supervises and processes the granting of all following by hotel PNP.
Recommends the cancellation of credit facilities to hotel users based on payment rerecords
Ensures hotel credit policy is adhered to by all concerned.
Ensures customers’ invoices are prepared by their requests and hotel PNP.
Handles investigation - requests of hotel guests on matters of invoicing.
Ensures accounts receivable over 60 days are promptly pursued collection.
Ensures “Walk out Reports” are forwarded from Front Office promptly for investigation and further action.
Recommends improvement to operation as appropriate.
Submits (every three months) to Controller, accounts that he considers uncollectable.
Prepares, and supervises the preparation of monthly statements and reminders.
Maintains filing system as appropriate to the need of the operation.
Complies with Hotel’s health, safety, and hygiene policy, and performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
Consistently provides and maintains the highest standard of customer care and service.
Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming at all times.
Ensures that suitable office wear is worn well pressed and in a good state and ensures that you wear a name badge at all times.
Familiarizes yourself with your departmental Service Performance & Product Standards and be able to demonstrate their application consistently.
Have a good knowledge of all hotel facilities and be able to answer questions in a quick, polite, and helpful manner whenever enquired by a guest or customer.
Handles any guest complaints or problems promptly and ensures that all resolved/unresolved incidents are reported to your Supervisor.
What we need from you:
Bachelor’s degree/higher education qualification/equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
3 years in the hotel Finance department specifically with credit section experience.
Solid computer skills, and proficiency ln the use of office software products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent ability to effectively communicate clearly and concisely in English and Arabic (both oral and written)
