Job Description
TAX Free Direct Hire Job Opportunity for an experienced Senior Drilling Engineer to be based in Qatar has just been made available a leading oil and gas operating company.

Job Purpose

    Coordinate and supervise the execution activities related to jack up lift barge for the Well Completion Section incorporating perforating stimulating testing (PST) operations including periodic wellwork operations such as milling, cleanout or fishing campaigns in production wells operated by company to avoid any well control incidents.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

    Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent with specialisation in one or more fields related to the Energy Sector.

Knowledge and/or Experience - I

    8 years’ experience in well related operations in the oil and gas industry, including 5 years’ experience in perforating, stimulating, coiled tubing and testing operations, either offshore or onshore wells.
    Knowledge and understanding of the following well engineering disciplines: Wellhead, Tree & Surface Equipment, Subsurface Equipment, Cased hole and Production Logging, Well and tubular design, Rigless wellwork equipment including Pressure Control Equipment and Well Barrier requirements.

Knowledge and/or Experience - II

    Knowledge of software applications related to subsurface data acquisitions (Well View, Emraude, Saphir).
    Familiar with Well Integrity Management: Sustained Casing Pressure Management, Wellhead/X-mas Tree and Down Hole Safety Valve Testing & Maintenance.
    IWCF Certified - Well Intervention & Pressure Control (Level-4).

Technical and Business Skills - I

    Proficient in written and spoken English.
    Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at several levels.
    Requires strong analytical, planning, troubleshooting and organizational skills.
    Computer literacy (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
