HSE SPECIALIST- Qatar Petroleum, Qatar
Experience & Skills
Minimum 18 years experience in HSE Management functions and exposure on HSE for major Oil & Gas and /or
Infrastructure projects of which at least last 5 years in similar HSE Senior position for projects in reputable Oil & Gas
Companies or EPIC Contractors.
Wide exposure in various Safety Studies such as QRA, HAZID, HAZOP, Knowledgeable on Major Accident Hazard
Management (MAH) and Environmental assessments.
Knowledgeable on development and implementation of HSE Targets and Objectives, Key Performance Indicators, Statistics
and Performance Monitoring.
Familiar with OSHA standards and established international codes and standards.
Experienced in providing safety management and supervision to a team of HSE personnel.
Experienced as auditor in key and critical HSE compliance audits, inspections and reviews within Department and
Contractors.
Experienced investigation, review and analysis of work related accident/ incident including root cause and lessons learned,
and ensuring implementation and close-out of preventive and corrective actions.
Education
Bachelor Degree in an Engineering discipline from an internationally recognized University. In addition, NEBOSH or
equivalent certification is required.
