Job Description

REQUIRED EDUCATION

A Grade 12 certificate

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years relevant experience in an administrative environment

Relevant experience in a Medical Records department within a healthcare setting will be an advantage

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

To provide a comprehensive administrative support function to the Medical Records department

To ensure all relevant medical records and documentation is filed accurately and in a timely manner

Patient appointment files are prepared in advance for relevant visits

Files and documentation are delivered to relevant departments, business units and/or external parties according to company policy and standard

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Client service and related management principles

Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications

Verbal and written communication skills in English
