Resident Engineer- Atkins, Abu Dhabi
Atkins are looking for Resident Engineer for Site Operations team in Abu Dhabi.
Requirements:
Shall be qualified with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University.
Must posses 20 years post graduate experience in design, site supervision, and construction management of major highway projects of complex nature, with 10 years in UAE.
Principle Activities:
Report to the Project Director ( and will be assisted by the Engineers,` roads inspectors and land surveyors.
Assist in checking the contractor’s submissions and shop drawings.
Assist in responding to the contractor’s requests for information.
Liaise with the inspectors, surveyors and materials inspectors with regard to the timely processing of the requests for inspection (RFI) to ensure there are no undue delays.
Liaise with the ARE (Utilities) to ensure that there are no programming conflicts with utility diversions
Assist the Planning Engineer to prepare the monthly status reports.
