Finance Manager- Dubai UAE
Our Client
An established business advisory firm established in the UAE are enjoying continuous growth and have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join their finance team based in Dubai.
Your Responsibilities
As the Finance Manager, you will manage a small team and help determine financial strategy and policy, arranging the appropriate funding and managing financial risks in the organization.
Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
Responsible for FP&A, IRFS standards, financial processes, auditing and internal control, cost controlling, tax & licenses.
Formulate departments budget in conjunction with divisional and organizational budget, tracks expenses and ensure adherence to the assigned budgets
Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, accounts, commentaries and financial statements.
Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
Perform internal audit to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
Responsible for the efficiency of the department in delivering all the tasks, driving improvements to existing systems and processes where possible
Prepare, review and submit monthly VAT returns for the group whilst keeping abreast of current developments relating to tax and VAT across multiple jurisdictions
Ensure payroll is processed on time and all deductions are accurately made and adequate cash is always maintained
Your Qualifications
A university graduate in Finance and Accounting.
Professional Qualification such as ACCA/ CA / CPA is essential.
A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 2 years of experience will be in the UAE.
You will be a proven experienced Finance Manager with a minimum 2 years of experience in leading a team.
Self-directed with experience in financial preparations and management accounting.
Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
Fluent English speaker. Arabic is desirable, but not essential
