FRS Instructor-Dubai Support Office

The Job Opportunity
The main purpose of this appointment is to enable delegates to learn fire fighting and fire fighter leadership techniques through presentations, demonstration and instruction. The post holder will be required to assess the performance of candidates using a range of methods. Included in this role is a requirement to take responsibility for the management of students and design, development, evaluation and improvement of course materials in accordance with client requests and regulatory standards.
Key accountabilities
Oversee and manage the instructors in the delivery of FRS training
Deliver FRS training programmes in accordance with QMS procedures and regulatory standards.
Support the delivery of aviation training programmes as required.
Assess students’ performance against recognised standards using a range of methods in accordance with QMS procedures.
Develop course content in line with regulatory standards and best practise
Take responsibility for personal development in order to broaden the type and range of courses that can be delivered.
Provide students/sponsors with follow up reports and action plans in the agreed format
Maintain equipment in accordance with recognised procedures
What we are looking for in our candidates
Represent Serco Middle East IFTC at industry conferences, meetings and marketing events as required by the line manager
Provide feedback to line managers on matters of student performance, staff performance, health and safety
Maintain health and fitness levels in order to undertake the role (in accordance with recognised guidelines)
To undertake any other duties, within the scope of personal capabilities, as required by the business
Specific Requirements
Must be approved or able to gain approval from IFTC to deliver the accredited training
minimum 5 years of experince
ARFF experince is a must
Arabic speaker is a must
Fire and rescue service experience (ideally to Station Manager rank)
Technical understanding of fire and rescue techniques
Training qualification
Training experience
IT – MS Office (Word and PowerPoint
Addtional Requirements
Mixture of industrail and ARFF ex
