 Sales Director - RMDK Middle East - Al Khobar, KSA 


Job Purpose:

The role is to lead the RMD Kwikform KSA Sales Team.

To manage and develop the existing business as well as to formulate and implement a sales strategy for ongoing profitable development and growth of business.

To build strong and profitable sustainable relationships with customers in KSA and to develop and grow the territory within KSA to achieve Sales Objectives.

To ensure payment is received on time and in full.

To maximise sales and customer service efficiency whilst managing, developing and motivating the sales team.

To instil a customer driven culture throughout the sales territory, enhance the company brand within KSA and achieve objectives by working through others.

To represent RMD Kwikform in an ethical and professional manner at all times.

 


Key Accountabilities:


The Sales Director will be responsible and accountable for the day to day management of the sales organisation including the attainment of the sales targets and Key Performance Indicators through the following key tasks:


Ensuring Sales team members achieve the set and agreed targets including stretch targets

Key Customer Development

Sales Process and Pipeline

Reporting Activities, Records and Conforming Administration Systems

Territory Coverage and the Customer Base

Motivation, Training and Discipline

Exceeding Financial Performance targets set

Territory Financial Performance

Communications and Working Relationships:


The Sales Director will relate professionally with other RMDK staff who will have a key influence on the performance of their territory and the business overall including:


Head of Operations and principle operations staff for all matters relating to forecasting of material needs, service and the supply of equipment.

Senior Engineer / Manager and principle engineering staff for all matters related to Customer enquiries and projects.

Customer Services staff (supervisors) to ensure that clarity is achieved with regard to the Customer's requirements.

Financial Controller and principle accounting staff for opening accounts, and matters related to actual or potential financial disputes.

Middle East HR Manager (via Regional Managing Director) for all matters related to recruitment, disciplinary issues and employee relations.

Middle East Marketing Manager (via Regional Managing Director) for all marketing, advertising and promotional collateral.


Framework, Boundaries, Decision Making Authority and Responsibility:


Authority to make recommendations to managers.

Can escalate matters to senior managers

Authority to bring to the attention of any person, supplier, customer or visitor any unsafe acts or conditions by embracing the ‘Don't walk by' safety culture.


Qualifications:

Engineering Graduate with Management Qualification preferred.


Knowledge & Experience:


Proven Sales track record.


Experience in Scaffolding and Formwork Industries as Senior Sales Manager preferred.


Local experience essential to the success of this role.
