Description
In this role, you'll use your sales leadership and geoscience/petroleum engineering domain knowledge to develop and execute on regional growth strategy and account strategies for new and existing customers across our leading-edge exploration and production software and services portfolio.
Responsibilities
Plan, execute and drive annual sales strategy to create, develop, and turn opportunities into software and services sales.
Create, maintain, and execute on strategic plans to drive & achieve Revenue targets and growth initiatives.
Lead develop & Manage matrix teams by providing clear direction and support to achieve desired results
Build and maintain consultative relationships with clients at every level within the client organization
Understanding and analyzing customer processes to uncover workflow needs, identify technical challenges, and conceptualize new strategic business opportunities and initiatives
Identify current business challenges and build solutions to enhance and expand our business footprint
Delivering compelling, customer-centric technical presentations
Managing, along with Technical Support Team, product evaluations for new customers that result in advancing the sales process
Proactively engaging with sales, marketing, and Product Development with customer data to meet current and future needs with new product enhancements
Working closely with Product Development Technical Sales and Geoscience Services Teams.
Manage accurate and timely quotations submissions, bid proposals, and conduct win-win price negotiations.
Recommend strategies to Senior Executives on adapting to local market trends and increase our exposure and presence in the market.
Maintain accurate and transparent data in our CRM system.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in geosciences, petroleum engineering, petroleum reservoir engineering or related discipline.
5 or more years’ hands-on geoscience or petroleum engineering experience in an exploration or production environment
10 or more years’ software sales experience in geosciences or petroleum engineering
Ability to travel regularly (post-COVID restrictions) across the Middle East and Africa
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience leading integrated sales and technical teams and managing personnel strongly preferred
