Key Responsibilities:

Assists in implementing market development and field marketing activities.

Works in collaboration with the team to achieve established sales goals including market share objectives.

Schedules appointments and makes sales presentations to customers.

Develops customer and product focused presentation packages for sales.

Coordinates Professional Education activities to enhance the knowledge of Healthcare professionals.

Makes regular visits to customer locations to capture information on orders and market conditions.

Performs contract and/or tender management activities. Targets and manages assigned territory while operating within an assigned budget.

Checks with logistics to ensure product availability.

Drives national, regional and local promotional activities that are designed to advance sales in specific product lines or areas.

Follows up with customers to resolve any issues and ensure satisfaction.

Assists in making sales forecasts for business planning by account and submits to management.

Prepares sales reports and documents as required.

Relays relevant market information to management.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education:

BS required, (Life Sciences degree preferred)

Experience and Skills:

Required:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a field sales role within Medical Device sector

Preferred:

Previous experiences in Surgical products

Direct & indirect sales experience

Other:

Proficiency in English is a must

Travel percentage – 10%

Introduction to the role

Porsche Middle East & Africa FZE is hiring a Tax and Customs Specialist, for our office based in Dubai. The position will be

responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a Corporate Tax strategy for PME. The ideal candidate is an expert in the

field of UAE Tax, Logistics & Trade compliance. If this sounds like you, we are looking forward to your application! 

 

Job Responsibilities

Develop, implement and maintain Corporate Tax strategy for Porsche Middle East and Africa (PME) and define Internal Control System and regularly review business processes.

Coordinate with the UAE tax and customs authorities by researching, analysing and interpreting changing tax & customs legislation / regulations and collating information to ensure timely implementation of relevant regulations.

Responsible to update local version of taxes and customs directives and ensure to match with actual business processes, as well as to ensure that employees are trained according for taxes and customs rules.

Liase with departments within PME and PAG to implement customs strategy as Free Zone company in the UAE and ensure adherence to all international import and export laws and regulations (incl. UAE).

Responsible for accurate and timely submission of all tax obligations & reporting by preparing and submitting tax returns, tax computations and any other necessary forms / documents and submission of all tax related reporting.

Support departments with establishing standard requirements for shipment documentation and ensure all export & import requirements are accurately documented before submitting to the government authorities. 

 

Qualifications

> 4 years working experience working with UAE Tax and Logistics & Trade compliance (customs), Automotive

industry is an advantage.

Bachelor Degree in Certified Tax & Logistics & Trade compliance expert or other relevant education.

Experience in leading projects and advanced report drafting skills.

Strong interpersonal skills.

High Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Power point, Word) and Basic SAP System knowledge.

High level of proficiency in English, Arabic & German is beneficial.

Purchasing Officer - RAK Academy, UAE

RAK Academy is seeking a dynamic and committed Purchasing Officer to join us for the Academic Year 2022-2023. This is an exciting role which will be directly reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager.

Job Purpose

RAK Academy places a strong focus on attracting, retaining and developing highly talented and passionate professionals to ensure the strategic aims of its schools are fully realized.

The Purchasing officer is responsible for Sourcing and buying materials, goods, and services on behalf of RAK Academy to be used in daily operations as well as maintaining purchasing records, negotiating with vendors, and researching prospective suppliers .

Key Responsibilities

Researching prospective suppliers

Sourcing and buying goods and services

Prepare reports on purchases

Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors

Pre-qualifying suppliers and evaluate vendors performance

Sourcing goods, products, and services. Review quality of purchased products

Receive purchase requests, obtain quotations and negotiate terms of agreement and pricing with the best or most cost-effective way

Liaise with stores to review inventory levels

Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers

Coordinate with suppliers as well as warehouse staff for receiving orders

Track orders and ensure timely delivery.

Issue purchase orders, and maintain updated records of purchased products

Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses

Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends

Works in line with the department objectives to align with the organizational goals

Assists in conducting needs assessments, developing scope of work, identifying specification of goods and services, and estimating procurement cost.

Assists in the budgeting process, bids and tenders.

The candidate must have:

·       BSc in Business, Logistics, or relevant field

·       Professional level proficiency in English (written and spoken)

·       Arabic is an advantage

·       Advanced MS Projects and MS office skills

·       Written and verbal communication and Negotiation skills .

·     Proven 2+ working experience in a similar position

·     Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
