What You'll Do

    • Maintains a detailed and updated database on customers which is periodically reviewed to maintain accurate information.
    • Handle Clients at all channels including email, face to face, calls, tickets and social media.
    • Liaise with the cross functional teams to guarantee seamless onboarding to the client on Right Bite meal plan services.
    • Follow up on Client’s requests to ensure excellent customer experience.
    • Assign correct owners to customer request based on identified reasons.
    • Capture Voice of Customer and external surveys to learn customer perception and expectation.
    • Receives and responds to inquiries/complaints regarding the Business Unit’s services, and ensures it is resolved in a timely manner.
    • Ensures adherence to quality standards for all customer interactions.
    • Prevent complaints and ensure adequate service recovery where needed.
    • Ensure retention rate of client list and strive to achieve the minimal set targets as set by the department head.
    • Assists in preparing reports pertaining to daily tasks and sales to the management whenever
    • required.
    • Manage customer accounts, keep accurate records of customer interactions/ correspondence and transactions.
    • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about Right Bite’s meal plan product and services through outbound calls and emails.
    • Perform any other duty as directed by the management.
    • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information.
    • Go the “extra mile” to meet the monthly set targets

 The Role

Finance Business Partner - MEA

Reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager in Dubai, this role will be responsible for management reporting and business partnering within the MEA region. Responsibilities include monthly & quarterly reporting, budgets & forecasting as well as in-depth analysis of key metrics thus supporting senior management with delivery of the region's financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyse and discuss the management reporting packs that supports Senior Management in the day to day operations

• Preparing and delivering in-depth financial analysis and insightful narrative on the financial and commercial areas for operational and strategic discussions

• Assist with the preparation of the annual Budget and Forecasts

• Assistance in preparing monthly Board Pack materials and commentaries

• Review of the business support spend and conducting discussions with the Support Managers to highlight areas of focus

• Develop new & insightful data presentation to aid non-Finance stakeholders

• Project Profitability Analysis

• Monitor and manage rate cards across the region, driving uniformity whenever achievable

• Implement tools and standardise the processes to review and approve pricing opportunities and streamline the flow of data necessary for decision making

• Track existing fee arrangement expirations and be prepared to engage with the partners to coordinate a renewal process

• Analyse client financial performance data to identify client specific opportunities for increased returns

• Engage with Partners on a quarterly basis to review practice profitability data

• Facilitate internal communications and information delivery to key decision-makers

• Building relationships and working closely with the local business development team on various client initiatives and help develop responses to client RFP submissions

• Help train Fee Earners on profitability best practices and promote confidence in rate discussions

• Use influencing skills to motivate and encourage Fee Earners to engage with clients about fee arrangements

Competencies and experience required

The ideal candidate will have:

• A professional accounting qualification with 5+ years' experience of FP&A and Business partnering preferably gained within a professional services firm

• Advanced Excel, including the use of VLookup / Hlookup /Pivot Tables/Complex Formulas/Macros (desirable)

• Strong numeric & analytical skills and an excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written (must be fluent in English)

• Strong time management and organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure, to regular tight deadlines, and the ability to prioritise key tasks

• The ability to problem solve, analyse situations and identify key issues

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a multitude of different stakeholders

• Flexibility in working to short deadlines and meeting the needs of the business

• Resilience when facing ambiguity or resistance • Confident and a proactive attitude

• Experience using Elite 3E or similar practice management systems would be advantageous

• Experience with Power BI/Tableau or similar enhanced presentation tools would also be an advantage

 Job Purpose:

Assistant Finance Manager is a middle level management position. Ability to do what needs to be done, without influence from other people or situations. Ability to deliver better value and quality. Financial Reporting: Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. Creating financial statements, accrual accounting methods, General ledger functions and the month-end / year-end account close process, Excellent accounting software user and administration skills

 

Duties:

  1. Ensure accurate cash management & prudent accounting with periodic reconciliations and timely management reporting.
  2. Assist in the day-to-day financial management of the University’s financial resources
  3. Ensure accurate and timely billing of student / customers and follow up of receivables. Ensure DTO below plan by following collection process, and adequate provisions made for impairment of receivables
  4. Participates in the development of budget proposals, assists in the financial audits, when required.
  5. Maintains appropriate filing of financial records and ensures proper backup of all files.
  6. Prepares all bank deposits, ensure to performs all bank account reconciliations monthly and when needed, communicates with the bank to understand, and reconcile any discrepancies; Prepares requests for cash and ensures all disbursements have appropriate supporting documents; Reconciles cash advances for specific activities
  7. Ensure supplier invoices are booked and payments done on time and major suppliers and sister company balances are reconciled periodically.
  8. Ensure proper inventory management with periodic stock counts. Ensure adequate provision for slow moving inventory.
  9. Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction, teamwork, and cooperation among sections under Finance department and other departments.
  10. Active involvement in the administration of university compensation programs, including payroll, working closely with Human Resources Department.
  11. Prepare accurate financial statements, revenue projections and other reports as required.
  12. Provide accurate data to superiors with on-going forecasting of operating revenues and expenditures, and the resulting operational impact.
  13. Train and evaluate junior staff within the department; establish and monitor employee performance objectives; prepare and present employee performance reviews; provide or coordinate staff development.
  14. Ensure all accounts are reconciled daily / weekly / monthly as required.
  15. Assist in preparation of budget; including the forecasting funds required for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies; monitor budget variance on regular basis.
  16. Proactively provide timely analysis of financial data to senior staff to improve financial and operational performance of the University.
  17. Keep abreast of developments in higher education finance and fields related to assigned functions.
  18. Understanding and compliance with the generally accepted accounting procedures and standards
  19. Review vendors and customers accuracy of finances deals / accounts payable making sure all our vendor payments are up to date but also ensuring we are not spending money where it is not needed.
  20. Ensure accurate and timely monthly and year end close and financial information reporting.
  21. Coordinate with external auditors for timely completion of audited financials.
  22. Supporting senior staff for completing projects and tasks when required
