RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

- Organize monthly dealer operational committee including agenda and action points creation and follow up.
- Keep track of all projects on timing and cost and lead or support some of these projects
- Business owner of the B2B processes
- Organize quarterly national and regional meetings
- Together with the sales support team ensure on time and correct dealer invoicing and archiving. 
- Together with the Collection executive follow up on the incoming cheques from the dealers collected by the KAM
- Payment/overdue follow up together with the KAM.
- Support the KAM on the administration part of onboarding including the Credit limit request.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

 

- Project management within Business to Business
- Departmental events
- Manage dealer (sales) support team
- Credit limit request support
- Cheque collection follow up
- New dealer onboarding support together with the Key account managers (KAM)

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: 

 

Education:
-    University Bachelor degree required 


Minimum Experience and Knowledge:


-    5+ years of Automotive experience and Spare parts business
-    Good problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
-    Excellent written, verbal communication, including presentation skills

•    Experience in project management and follow up
•    Fluent in English and Arabic preferred

We are looking for a Construction Manager to join our ongoing theme park projects in Dammam.

A Typical Week Would Include
  • Organizes the on-site project team and allocates responsibility for HSE, site supervision and document control procedures
  • Assist with Reviews and analysis of all claims submitted by the Contractor
  • Adopts a pro-active working and safety policy
  • Establishes a good working relationship with all stakeholders across the project team and construction teams
  • Adopts a fair and reasonable approach in dealing with contractual disputes
  • Recognises and shows appreciation of individual staff accomplishments
  • Offers advice and guidance on how individuals performance can be improved
  • Provides support and follow-up on issues regarding staff problems
  • Ensures quality of the work through implementing inspection procedures
  • Provides assistance and support to the project team in technical matters, including constructability, procurement and shop drawings
  • Demonstrate proactive awareness and reporting of overall progress of the works, work closely alongside the contractor(s) to mitigate against programme issues
  • Maintains regular contact with the PMCM team regarding matters related to costs and programme
  • Communicates effectively with the Client and other Stakeholders on all matters that may impact Contract duration or Contract Value
  • Advises the Client regarding any contractual matters and provides recommendations for resolving contractual disputes
  • Work alongside the project team and Main Contractor(s) to coordinate all interfaces between the different contractors working on and adjacent to the project site
  • Represent WSP as a senior member of the PMCM team and always act in the spirit of collaboration and teamwork
We'd Love To Hear From You If You Have
  • Minimum 15 years’ industry experience in managing and delivering large and/or complex buildings construction projects, to a high standard and to fast track programmes
  • Effective leadership and high commitment in order to achieve goals
  • Must be familiar with contractual matters related to construction projects and have a good working knowledge of the FIDIC Red Book.
  • Must have previous experience in a PMCM (Programme Management, Construction Management) environment
  • Must have previous experience in theme park or entertainment projects

Position Overview:

Construction Manager - Infra to lead the effort to manage and control the delivery of the infrastructure activities of the Contractor and Specialist Subcontractors throughout the construction phase of the project and monitor the performance of the Construction supervision Consultant with regard to inspection and sign off of the works completed by Contractor, and interfere where issues arise to ensure a suitable conclusion. 

 General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the Infrastructure works throughout the construction process.
  • Oversee the interface between the Contractor, the Supervision Consultant and the Authority Having Jurisdiction on all matters related to the infrastructure (Contractors permits and NOC’s).
  • Liaise with the Contractors Stakeholder Manager to ensure that all permits and NOC’s are being requested in good time to meet the project deadlines.
  • Review and approve the Contractors proposed programme for all infrastructure engineering, procurement and construction activities.
  • Monitor the performance of the Supervision Consultant and Contractor and prevent a delay to construction activities due to late responses to RFI’s submittals and the like.
  • Verify the reported progress in the various status reports with regard to Infrastructure activities
  • Monitor the technical submittal and approval process, including weekly reviews of tracking logs for all technical elements related to infrastructure.
  • Identify improvements that can be achieved with regard to sequencing and progress on the project by all parties during construction.
  • Monitor the Inspection process and identify improvements where possible.
  • Monitor QHSE performance and identify and address deviations of performance.
  • Coordinate and manage the relationship with the local authorities.
  • Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

 

 

Qualifications

 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Civil engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years experience in Construction of Infrastructure projects, with extensive experience in dealing with local authorities in Abu Dhabi ( minimum five years).
  • Experience dealing with subcontracts and subcontractors.
  • Have a proven track record as a Construction Manager on any related projects with large MEP Infrastructure scopes.
  • Required to have a strong technical background in MEP projects and should have at least two full life cycle project experiences working on a Project Management team.
  • Management of Inspections, Mockups, Prototypes, samples and quality benchmarking.
  • Progressive verification of the works to Contract specifications, Drawings and approved mock-ups.
  • Management of construction submittal and RFI review and responses process.
  • Review Main Contractors reports ( daily / weekly/ monthly), technical and progress.
  • Proposing a method of construction to support the Main Contractor.
  • Familiar will local authority’s requirements and procedures.
  • Background working on commercial, residential and/or industrial construction projects with big landscaping areas.
