We need an Operation & Maintenance Manager,
Job Summary:
AtkinsRΓ©alis is seeking a seasoned Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Manager to lead the delivery of comprehensive facilities management services for a major project in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing MEP operations, a strong understanding of local regulations, and fluency in Arabic to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the overall operations and maintenance activities across all MEP systems and soft services.
- Develop and implement strategic maintenance plans, including preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Manage and supervise technical teams, subcontractors, and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Monitor and report on operational performance, KPIs, and SLAs, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and address operational concerns.
- Oversee budget planning, cost control, and resource allocation for O&M activities.
- Drive innovation and efficiency through the adoption of best practices and new technologies, including CAFM systems.
Prequalification / Certification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in MEP Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Valid UPDA Grade A Certificate is mandatory.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in an Operation & Maintenance Manager role within the Facilities Management field in the State of Qatar.
- Fluency in Arabic (both spoken and written) is required.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale FM operations.
- Familiarity with international FM standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in FM software and reporting tools.
- CFM (Certified Facility Manager) certification is preferred.
