Leidos is seeking a highly motivated and skilled End User Hardware Service Lead to join our team and support the OCONUS Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-Net) efforts under the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) contract. This exciting opportunity is in Manama, Bahrain, where you will contribute to the End User Hardware as a Service (EUHWaaS) task order in the Middle East.

- Lead and manage the deployment of new hardware as a service device (desktops, laptops, peripherals) as part of the EUHWaaS task order. This includes system imaging, software installation, configuration, and data migration.
- Configure systems per baseline image specifications, ensuring all new devices are set up with the required applications, operating systems, and security setting in accordance with Government policies.
- Track and manage hardware inventory throughout the refresh lifecycle, ensuring proper documentation of asset details, serial numbers, and disposition of old equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of the refresh process, including system configurations, user data migration, and inventory tracking. Ensure that all processes are compliant with established processes and standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues during the refresh process. Resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime for end users.
- Provide training to junior IT Specialists on the new systems and any new software, including changes in workflows or interface elements. Offer support for troubleshooting and user inquiries.
- Communicate with on-site end-user POCs for deployments to schedule and execute system replacements with minimal operation disruptions.
- Assist with the overall management and coordination of the EUHWaaS task, ensuring timelines and milestones are met. Report progress, challenges, and completed tasks to the project lead.
- Perform testing of systems pre/post-deployments to ensure they meet operational and security standards.
- Ensure refresh activities are completed within the timeframe required by Service Level Requirement (SLR).
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years related experience. Additional experience may be substituted for degree.
- Must be a US Citizen and possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Compliant with DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+, CCNA Security, etc.).
- Minimum of one OEM network or OS certification (CCNA, MDAA, MEAA, etc.).
- Proficient with Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Experience with imaging and deployment tools (e.g., SCCM or similar).
- Experience with data migration and backup procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve routine and more complex technical issues efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of network configurations and security protocols.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable items or tasks.
- ITIL Foundations v3 or v4 certification.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings to senior management.
- Strong Information Technology management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) / Department of Navy (DoN) operating environments.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
