Job Purpose
We are seeking a skilled HR Consultant to join our HR team. The HR Consultant will primarily work with our clients, providing expert HR advice and support. The role involves managing HR files, ensuring compliance with local legislation, and implementing best practices in HR management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR principles and strategy, comprehensive knowledge on legislations in UAE, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Provide HR consultancy services to clients, including advice on HR policies, procedures, and best practices, advise them on the local laws and legislations in UAE and other GCC jurisdictions.
Provide support to payroll with onboarding new clients and being their main point of contact of any ongoing queries.
Manage client HR files, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with local regulations.
Conduct HR audits and assessments for clients to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Develop and implement HR strategies, initiatives, and programs tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
Advise clients on employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management.
Assist clients with recruitment and selection processes, including job descriptions, interviewing, and candidate assessment.
Assist with drafting various policies and procedures manuals, employee handbooks, etc.
Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients on various HR topics, such as diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, performance appraisal and others as required.
Stay up-to-date with changes in HR laws and regulations in GCC and advise clients accordingly.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on HR matters.
Work closely with the HR Manager and Marketing department to assist in drafting and developing marketing material for HR Services.
Assist the HR Manager in developing new templates for HR services, as well as updating all existing templates to ensure compliance with local legislation.
Maintain a high level of customer service whilst carrying out HR Services as a representative of the Sovereign Group.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, CIPD) is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legislation, particularly in UAE, GCC is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
Proficient in English language, written and verbal
