Job Description:
E-Commerce is a growth driver for Mars Wrigley. It has grown close to x10 in the last 3 years and is projected to continue on a high double digit trajectory, and we have been expanding our organization to accelerate that growth.
We are seeking an ambitious EB2B Acceleration Manager to initiate and lead the accelerated growth agenda for our EB2B initiatives in Middle East & Africa. The ideal candidate will be someone who is comfortable initiating a project from scratch and delivering it end to end while partnering with Global Teams, Agencies, Local Partners and our Markets. The candidate is expected to be entrepreneurial, data driven, passionate about driving results, exploring and setting up new business opportunities, working with new systems and tech, and rallying the organization around them.
What are we looking for?
· Minimum 5 Years’ experience in a relevant Commercial Role (e.g. KAM, etc)
· Experience working in or with online Retailers an advantage
2-3 Years’ experience in e-commerce or digital directly
What will be your key responsibilities?
Key Responsibilities Include (but Not Limited To):
1. Accelerated Growth Strategy for EB2B:
- Map out the EB2B landscape, identify current players, future internal tools/platforms needed and set the foundations to win.
- Define & Recommend EB2B Channel segmentation; Traditional Trade & Beyond.
- Define & Recommend Commercial Strategy for each sub-channel & market: Assortment, price, promotion for our Lead markets.
2. Enable EB2B Transformation :
- Create tools that enable increased reach and efficiencies in our route to market, and that enable Analytics, Performance tracking, ordering systems, payment, stock management, live availability tracking, Journey planning & optimization.
- Partner & work with Global Teams to create market relevant tools.
- Find local partners to work with to develop the platforms.
- Identify & Find New EB2B spaces.
3. Roll Out and support Execution of EB2B strategies:
- Roll out & Implement Global EB2B Playbook and support in market execution and adaption of the playbook to local needs.
- Work with agencies to Create a central content hub relevant for all internal and external EB2B platforms and tools, customized for business owner use Vs. Consumer.
- Partner with Global to Create a MEA EB2B Digital Merchandising must haves to drive excellence in execution.
- Lead Customer communication: Drive visibility & communication tools to drive customer engagement (banners, whatsapp)
- Develop Channel promo strategy & update promo cycles on a frequent basis.
- Create Search Engine tools to boost performance & develop Customer Search Strategies to generate higher sell-in.
- Work on Future Disruptive tech such as generative AI to improve sales efficiency & conversion (enhanced voice orders) and to improve execution in-store
4. Lead Test & Learn Initiatives:
- Design, implement, and analyze test and learn initiatives to identify opportunities to drive customer engagement & conversion in the different sub-channels.
- Define best in class approach & learnings and cascade across our priority markets.
