Employee Relations Lead
The Employee Relations Lead is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:

    Investigates HR related ethics concerns raised through the hotline and other channels, interfacing with the Ethics Office and regional partners and control functions to ensure timely and thorough investigation and appropriate resolution of all issues, including application of the standards outlined in the Global Disciplinary Review policy.
    Participates in a range of regulatory exams and internal audit reviews.
    Responds to workplace concerns on behalf of senior management.
    Works with the Employment Law team in the investigation of and response to agency charges and litigation .
    Partners with internal stakeholders such as Compliance, Citi Security and Investigative Services and Audit on investigations of employee misconduct.
    Assists in the design, development and/or delivery of training initiatives for HR.
    Coaches and consults on the interpretation and application of HR policy and practices in all phases of employment.
    Develops effective and creative policy resource tools for HRs and managers to ensure consistent application and interpretation of policy and practice as well as to improve HR skills.
    All other duties as assigned.
    Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

    6-10 years of experience


Education:

    Bachelors/University degree, Master's degree preferred

Job Purpose

Ensuring students’ success and helping them reach their full potential by implementing the SABIS® curriculum and philosophy and through the consistent use of the SABIS® teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities:

    Teaching a class using the provided lesson plans (may also be asked to develop such plans based on the provided pacing charts as relevant and needed) for their subject(s) in order to be able to teach using the SABIS® point system.
    Marking exams related to the taught subject in accordance with the schedule and material provided by the department.
    Discussing disciplinary and student performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller (AQC) and Head of Department (HOD) as needed.
    Implementing the SABIS® Point System to ensure an environment conducive to learning in the classroom.
    Proctoring exams as needed while ensuring an adequate and properly managed test environment.
    Providing support for the academically low-performing students through guidance and motivation to help them improve and reach their full potential.
    Developing and/or following up on external exams preparation by going through previous exams as planned in the structured revision schedule (when applicable to specific grade levels).
    Aiding in duties that may include testing students, substituting for absent teachers, organizing students for lunches and buses, controlling traffic (vehicles and people), and other administrative duties as assigned by the school management.
    Preparing and participating in activity plans related to student life events such as but not limited to art, open houses, and physical education, in coordination with the Student Life Coordinator (SLC).
    Attending training sessions when needed and as requested by the school management in order to enhance the understanding of the SABIS® system and improve the overall performance of students.
    Performing other related tasks or projects as they arise and as delegated by the school management.

Ideal Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree in Education or it's equivalent
    English Proficient
    A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience
    Professional behavior and ethical conduct
    Delivering results
    Continuous learning and improvement
    Accountability and taking ownership
    Excellent communication skills

Employment Requirements:

Must meet all employment requirements including, but not limited to, country and local education and certification requirements, reference checks, and criminal background checks.

The data we generate provides our clients with the information they need to make critical, well informed, business decisions.

UTEC is currently seeking to hire an Administration Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis for their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support required by Business Unit Director, Operations Manager, Project Manager and or their delegate.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support to Business Unit including, and not limited to, general clerical,
receptionist and project based work
• Compose and/or edit a variety of correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other material
requiring judgment as to content, accuracy, and completeness
• Assist with all personnel logistics, hotel bookings and flights
• Provide administrative support visa applications, liaise with Visa agents, government work
permit approvals, health insurance, company documents and office tenancy
• Monitor all Offshore & Office personnel movements and work deployments
• Monitor and validate all Offshore Personnel expense submissions
• Maintain Offshore Personnel expense records by data entry of processed Personnel expenses
• Provide direct administrative support to offshore personnel on an ad hoc basis (typically
handling of Personnel Welfare issues)
• Provide administrative support to the Operations Team including, but not limited to, general
clerical, receptionist and project based work
• Liaises with Travel provider to schedule flights, arrange visas, hotel and rental car
accommodations for all regional employees and provides itineraries in a timely manner
• Ensures route and carrier options are most appropriate based on project needs and employees
departure points
• Researches alternate options when preferred travel is not available
• QC of regional travel logs to ensure accuracy
• Responsible for the review of Global travel providers invoice to ensure accuracy, correct project
codes are referenced and invoices are presented with supporting documents
• Liaise with Safety Training, Medical Centers to coordinate the efficient and cost-effective
organization of Offshore Personnel Medical and Safety Training schedules;
• Monitor travel and lodging costs, perform cost comparisons to actively seek cost savings
• Maintain and acknowledge the need for a high level of company and customer confidentiality
• Support document requirements for tender prequalification as required by commercial team

Requirements
• High School Diploma or associate degree with excellent knowledge of MS office applications
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
