You could be an Azure infrastructure administrator with interest in Information Security or you already have some experience. Most importantly, you are passionate about the area and then we will make sure to give you the necessary skills to make Monjasa bullet proof. Your desk can either be in our office in Fredericia or Copenhagen - the colleagues are just as fantastic.
Job description
Monjasa is a leading global partner in the oil and shipping industry who believes strongly in driving Personal Business. We aim to inspire our business partners and become first choice by challenging status quo with our original solutions.
You will join a team of 21 IT professionals located in Denmark, UAE and Panama, specialised in IT Support, security, infrastructure, and various other projects. You will work very close with our Group Information Security Manager, who is responsible of the overall governance structure. All together you make sure that Monjasa’s IT landscape and data are securely protected. An ongoing priority is to optimise Monjasa’s existing IT environment in Azure and implement new projects. Streamlining day-to-day operational tasks through automation and participate in building, further developing, and handling operational tasks in Monjasa’s cloud environment is an ongoing responsibility in this role.
We fully support ongoing education to stay on top of the technology. Thus, it is important that you already have a broad knowledge of information security, IT infrastructure and the security components that are part of modern environments. Furthermore, it is essential that you can be technically committed with a focus on protecting data, assets, critical infrastructure, and Identities.

Areas of focus
In this role, you will participate in the design and implementation of solutions in projects related to MS CAF (Microsoft Cloud adoption Framework). It is within your responsibility to monitor and create metrics to spot vulnerabilities in our global infrastructure, and you will be using MS Defender recommendations to keep a high level of security. Moreover, further develop of Monjasa’s work with Identity Management, Data Governance, Rights Management etc. is within your portfolio of tasks as well as being responsible for monitoring and improving Backup setup and use platform dashboards to keep up to date on system health.
Additionally, you will focus on:
- Define Azure policies to set guardrails for new deployments.
- Communicate with stakeholders and the business regarding new initiatives.
- Ensure that platform changes are planned and executed by the infrastructure team.
- Document and report on findings and results in the security platforms
- Learn how to use and navigate Sentinel and other essential tools to create a buddy system.
Your professional skills
It is expected of you to bring a relevant IT education and preferably you have experience in enterprise infrastructure or from a similar role. Additionally, you are fluent in both written and verbal English. Danish is an advantage.
Furthermore, it is preferred if:
- You hold solid experience with IT security in e.g. an On-Premise environment and/or Azure
- One or more of below bullets are familiar to you:
- Microsoft Defender suite
- Microsoft Cloud App Security
- Azure Sentinel
- EntraID
- Networking
- Microsoft Information Protection etc
Your personal skills
As to your personal characteristics, you are curious and have a driven approach to the ever-moving technology while you have a practical way of working and take pride in attacking issues with an action-oriented starting-point. You are detail-oriented and always think twice – e.g., before pressing an important button. To succeed in the role it is important for you to be team-oriented while having the drive and ability to work independently. Lastly, it is expected of you to live the four Monjasa values (respect, curiosity, ambition, and smile & joy).
