Job Description
We are currently seeking a Process Safety Engineer , reporting directly to HOD- Process Safety to join the team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
About The Role:
Your main missions and responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Development of HSE design basis / philosophy
Estimation of fire water/ foam system demand calculations/ fire water P&IDs
Preparation of technical specifications for fire fighting and safety equipment
Development of Hazardous Area Classification layouts
Development of Fire and Gas detector layouts
Development of Fire Fighting, Safety, Escape route and Safety sign layouts
About You:

an engineering graduate, preferably with Chemical Engineering background, having 6+ years of experience in the field of loss prevention engineering in an Oil & Gas sector design consultancy
Experience in using consequence modelling software such as PHAST, FRED etc.
Experience in Safety review such as HAZID, HAZOP etc.
Experience in Technical evaluation of vendor bids
Candidates having experience of working in offshore projects and safety studies experience are preferred.
