Order Management Specialist
The Regional Tooling Center (RTC), Abu Dhabi is a part of the Generation Services ME Operations Global within the Siemens Energy.
Its core responsibilities are to meet the Large Gas Turbine Power Station on-site outage demands for tooling/on-site machining equipment across the Siemens portfolio of products. This includes but not exclusive to Gas Turbines, Generators, Steam & Compressor equipment.
In conjunction, the Regional Tool Centre (RTC) offers additional customized tooling solutions and other bespoke services to meet the requirements both from our internal partners and Middle Eastern customers.
The RTC business is a very dynamic and customer responsive business arena with a strong focus on EHS, Quality and Environmental aspects.
The Order Management is an integral part of Tooling Center Operations, receiving the orders, coordination with all the stakeholders and executing the orders. The OM team is the face to our internal customers and are leading the day-to-day operational actives. Also, liaise with Technical, Order Management & Commercial teams to ensure that the quality system is functioning correctly.
How You Will Make an Impact
Demand and Outage planning from tooling point of view with the event calendar.
Ensure fast response for all the requests.
Develop Investment / CAPEX Plan to cover outages in ME region.
Creation of rental and purchasing contracts with Commercial Management
Clear, efficient, and accurate methods for representation of project data from the inquiry stage till the point of delivery.
Ensuring OTD for all orders.
WeblogX Master data management and development.
Implement together with the RTC quality management LEAN processes within the order- and warehouse management operations.
KANLOG implementation within the Order Management team.
Implementation of digitalization initiatives for improvement in RTC operations and reduction in manual efforts.
Incorporation of tools control tracking program (TCTP)
Liaising with suppliers to procure consumables and support on localization initiatives.
What You Bring
Preferably has experience working as an OM within a Tool Centre and/or On-site/Field
Service Oil & Gas and Power Generation environment. Graduate or equivalent with typically 5+ years of relevant experience. Has sound and comprehensive knowledge of Quality and Safety procedures.
Demonstrate a competent & proven background in Order and Logistics Management.
Unbiased, independent individual with strong decision-making skills in addition to excellent interpersonal and written skills.
Has keen sense of intercultural communication requirements.
Cope with resistance and stress and able to keep parties focused and motivated.
Enjoy teaching people regarding safety and quality topics to help bring up their skill level.
A working understanding across the Gas Turbine Power Generation & Oil & Gas Sectors.
Has initiative and drive.
Is a team player of the highest caliber who is driven by deadline/target.
Co-Working and Problem-solving Skills; lean & agile methods and proven tools
