Aggreko in the Middle East
Across the Middle East, we electrify events from the Formula 1 in Qatar to Formula E in Riyadh. We're helping customers to reduce their environmental impact, like CCED in Oman where we convert flared gas into greener electricity. And we help crank up the volume to make MDL Beast the loudest music concert in the region, and keep everyone cool at The Diriyah Seasons Festival.
Our graduate technician trainee programme
As a trainee temperature control trainee technician, you’ll primarily focus on temperature control / HVAC equipment, however this will be complemented by training in mechanical and electrical systems. You’ll join a comprehensive 12-month training programme, working at various locations throughout the Middle East.
Each rotation consists of on-the-job training, classroom training and e-learning. And at the end of the programme, you’ll be confident in the temperature control (HVAC) maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of our equipment, and ready to move into a technician role in Aggreko Middle East and Africa.

What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for motivated individuals with the relevant engineering bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) who speak business level English and want to learn and develop their career.
You’ll need to have a sense of adventure as you’ll be working across the Middle East. It’s helpful if you already have a local or international driving license, but if not, you’ll be committed to learn when you join.
We’ll help sort the relevant visas with you, but you will need a valid passport with at least 9 months’ validity.
Quick checklist:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent qualifications) with at least 2 years experience working hands on with HVAC equipment
You’ll be able and willing to travel across the Middle East
Valid driving license (local or international) or willing to learn
Business level English
Valid passport with a minimum validity of 9 months
Motivated and keen to learn and develop your career with us
Timelines

Interview date (online): 16 – 24 April 2024
Start date: 1 July 2024
Location: UAE (you will work on rotations across the Gulf)
