SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
As a Coating Advisor, you are expected to provide professional technical advice to our customers through attending to key projects, inspections, troubleshooting, onsite complaint handling, providing feedback on product performance, and writing reports in order to ensure projects are carried out according to agreed specifications and customer satisfaction, for Jotun to be perceived as a preferred supplier in the market.
The job holder shall work independently as a Coating Advisor and will handle projects within the Abu Dhabi region.
This position reports to the Technical Sales Support Manager and will be based in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Responsibilities:
Instruct clients on paint application by coordinating on-site with client representatives to ensure the coating specification is met and in accordance with customer expectations.
Carry out inspections of assigned projects by working independently, following the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and working procedures in order to ensure that the product is applied in accordance with the specification
Issue reports by compiling data from inspections in order to document that the specification inspection criteria have been met.
Carry out product complaint troubleshooting by conducting inspections, in order to compile an accurate, detailed report to support the investigation phase of the complaint process
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
We are looking for a candidate who:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or chemical engineering
Minimum 5 years of work experience in coating related industries.
Certification on FROSIO III, NACE Level 2, or equivalent, Team No.1 Level 1 and Level 2 is an advantage
Having a GCC light vehicle driving license is an advantage.
English fluency and effective communication skills
