Job Purpose - As Business Analyst - Business Banking at Emirates NBD, your role is to
Major focus on aligning with overall business objectives in Saudi Arabia
It is a special role which is introduced within a squad sometimes to help Product Owners in Requirement Elicitation
Documentation and Product Backlog creation.
They support product owners in day-to-day work, but they should not be confused with Product Owner role at all as their span of responsibility is mostly limited to assist product owner in Requirements Elicitation and acting as Functional Test Leads
Collaborate closely with digital product owner to prioritize epics based on business value, customer impact, and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
Work with stakeholders to define and refine user stories, ensuring they are clear, concise, and actionable.
Develop detailed acceptance criteria for each user story, outlining specific conditions that must be met for the story to be considered complete.
Act as a gatekeeper for user story certification, verifying that all acceptance criteria have been met before accepting the story as complete.
Coordinate with QA teams to define test cases based on acceptance criteria and assist in test execution as needed.
Document and communicate lessons learned from user story reviews to improve future development processes and outcomes.
Collaborate with digital product owner to understand business objectives and requirements for digital products and services.
Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews to provide input and feedback on product development progress.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success and effectiveness of digital products.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure user-centric design and seamless user experiences

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience…
Fluency in Arabic would be an added advantage
Willingness to travel to Saudi Arabia, however the role is based in Dubai, UAE
Must possess good analytical & numerical skills
7+ years of regional banking industry experience with specialization in Agile delivery
Ability to translate business discussions for technical teams and likewise, technical discussions for business stakeholders
Strong stakeholder management skills and Work closely with relationship and coverage teams.
Ability to think broadly and have a holistic approach
Clear communication and articulation skills
