About the Role:
Mott MacDonald is looking for a Senior Resident Engineer for the enabling and infrastructure works for a large housing scheme to be developed in Abu Dhabi.
Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:
Assist the Project Director with project management whilst leading and covering all engineering disciplines across the project’s requirements, during design and supervision
Direct the supervision, coordination, compliance of all works including land development, site improvements and villas construction
Monitor progress of the project against the agreed schedule
Check the Contractor’s submission and respond to their request for information
Observe site safety procedures and actively monitor and report on contractor’s safety performance, raising non-conformance reports when required
Actively monitor the implementation of contractor’s quality procedures and raise non-conformance reports, as and when required
Responding for maintaining and enhancing Mott MacDonald’s reputation with the client and developing long term relationships
Prepare technical reports and presentations to update the client on progress
Candidate Specification:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or any relevant engineering discipline) from an accredited university
Demonstrable experience on large villas projects with experience in the UAE and in a similar capacity; demonstrable experience of working on the associated infrastructure of villa projects including site improvements
Demonstrable and extensive knowledge and experience in the execution of land development works including infrastructure and site improvements
