The role?
 
To act as proposal, lead on individual RFPs for Process Pre-commissioning and contribute towards achieving booking plan of EnerMech’s AMEC region.
 
Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas
 
To act as lead responsible person for planning, preparation, approvals, submission, and close-out of RFPs.
Prepare and Lead Tender kick off calls.
Prepare Technical and Commercial proposal Documents.
Write methodologies and execution plans for offshore and onshore Process pre-commissioning services i.e. Nitrogen-Helium Leak Testing, Lube Oil Flushing, Chemical Cleaning, Water jetting, Steam blowing, preservation, purging etc.
Should have strong technical knowledge of process pre-commissioning activities.
Carry out cost, time and resource estimate for offshore and onshore Process pre-commissioning activities.
Preparation of P&L, GP, GM and cashflow reports.
Preparation of manpower and equipment deployment plans.
Deal with third parties to identify material and subcontracting costs.
Technical and Commercial clarifications with Client.
Preparation of approval files, graphs, P&L sheets, cost break-down etc.
Liaise with internal stake holders and maintain clear visibility of the progress on each tender.
Deal with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Contracts, Legal, Tax, BD and other divisions for tender input in a timely manner.
Follow the tender approval matrix and ensure correct approvals are in place on a timely manner.
Demonstrate with evidence the cost efficiencies achieved through the estimation process.
Weekly / Monthly reporting.
Dealing with pre and post tender clarifications.
Ensure compliance with tender format.
Storyboard reviews through kick off and progress calls for individual tenders.
Bring in innovative solutions on complex pricing schedules.
Management of tender folders.
Any other tasks assigned by the E&P Manager to support the workload.
Recognized Qualifications and Experience
 
Essential:
 
Minimum Bachelor of Engineering Degree
Previous experience in a techno-commercial role
Knowledge and experience of onshore and offshore process pre-commissioning activities is mandatory.
Knowledge of Deepwater and onshore pipeline and umbilical's pre-commissioning will be preferred.
Understanding of an onshore / offshore oil and gas market.
Experience of engineering and procedure writing
Previous experience of front-end customer engagement and complex solution offering
 
Preferred
 
Relevant site-based industry experience.
Previous experience in tendering / commercial role.
Knowledge of Africa, Middle East, and Caspian Oil & Gas market.
