AtkinsRealis are currently looking for experienced MEP Quantity Surveyors to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and various locations within UAE. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within in UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of cost plans, estimates, BOQs
Measurement, take-offs based on standard method of measurements
Collaborate with design team for cost studies, value engineering etc.
Preparation of Tender documentation
Management of bonds, insurances and guarantee logs;
Interim valuations and payment certificates;
Assisting in variations analysis, recommendations and management;
Assisting in risk and value management and cost control functions;
Assisting in costs analysis project work;
Assisting in preparation of progress/ cost reports;
Experiences and Qualifications:
Demonstrable track record in the successful delivery of pre and post contract MEP cost management services.
Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical component parts of a project and overall construction costs.
Must have Mixed-use development and Infrastructure experiences
Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised University;
Min 3 to 7 years’ experience in the Middle East;
Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is required;
Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
