IT Site Manager
Dubai, UAE
Job Description
The IT Site Manager will lead IT projects and support for the Middle East Markets – UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait.
The role involves establishing robust IT processes and partnerships with all Galderma stakeholders in the Middle East. Additionally, a key responsibility is to enhance the IT user experience for Galderma's Middle East employees. This includes leading and executing IT projects for the markets, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring strict adherence to audit and compliance requirements as stipulated by Galderma's IT governance model.
Job Responsibilities
Process Enhancement and Stakeholder Partnership: The focus is on establishing effective IT processes, building partnerships with internal stakeholders (GM, Finance, Sales etc.) and addressing present and future IT needs of the business.
User Experience and Efficiency Improvement: Ensuring a positive IT experience for Middle East employees is paramount, encompassing aspects like onboarding, IT equipment compliance during exits, and ongoing process enhancements using global tools.
Service Delivery and Management: Responsible for local infrastructure management and end user support, employing methods to measure, report, and enhance service delivery. Supervising technical resources and coaching the business to ensure compliance with Galderma global IT Ticketing system.
Compliance and IT Operations: Ensuring local IT operations adhere to corporate standards and industry best practices. Implementing and maintaining local IT systems as per corporate policies and standards are focal points.
Business Relationship, Security, and Projects: Advocating Galderma's IT vision and strategy, developing strong business relationships, and collaborating with Global IT to implement solutions are key. Adhering to compliance, managing local IT projects, and overseeing operations are core functions.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT or Business; IT certifications (ITIL, PMP) are advantageous.
Proficient with SharePoint workflows, security groups, and reporting tools (Tableau, Qlikview, PowerBI).
3+ years implementing solutions in mid-size companies, 8-10+ years in IT
Right to live and work in UAE
Strong leadership, technical skills (End User Computing, Server, Network), and communication abilities.
High energy for project leadership and enhancing user experiences.
Fluent in English; pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
